[Week 8]

Some problems have disrupted the progress of the project. Fortunately, there was no problem with shooting, but it was a big mistake that I didn't think of the most important factors.

The first was a matter of schedule. No one would be able to accurately predict what tasks would come up in a few weeks, but it caused a big problem that I had planned the progress of the project, forgetting the schedules of other subjects. Tasks in other subjects flooded in all at once ahead of the deadline for the project. I couldn't concentrate on the project as much as I thought this week.

The second was that the heterogeneity of the sentences to be inserted into the catalog was not as huge as expected. And, it is too serious. This is a big obstacle to solving problems with wit and humor. So I decided to change the content of the phrase a little more provocative and straightforward. For example, the words that women should hear because they are women. I think that if I write the phrase in a casual tone that you can see in everyday life, it would go well with the commercial and kitschy feeling of the catalog.

But I will keep going and finish it in time one way or another for what I am fighting for.

[Week7]

This week, I developed the layout of the catalog and the main poster of my project.

The image above will be a poster of my work and I will put an image in it. And the image below is the cover of my catalog. Some feminism phrases will be attached on the backside of the cover.

Finally, I got all the things I need(Thanks Ali Express) and made a little studio in my closet. So from now on, I can take the images and finish 'shooting and editing' stage as I planned.

Some student contacted me privately and ask me to add some explanation about the concept of my work briefly in the catalog. And during the class, someone worried about the copyright of the feminism phrases that will be attached in the project. So, while I finish shooting and editing, I will keep thinking about the matter and reflect the feedback.

[Week6]

This week, I finally contacted to other students who has same topic of DMP project. We made a group chat, showed the proposal to each other, and set roles to conduct web exhibition.

Mine is managing Youtube channel and editing video. Our team will open exhibition on our own web site, and promote and collect feedback through SNS.

Especially, Instagram and Youtube will be proper platform for visual and mix media works. We can use streaming service on the site, archive works, and find some new ways for audience participation.

I don't know if collaboration is easier than doing all alone, but certainly it will be funnier and there will be more things to learn.
