Finally, I started making a logo for the project! Although it is not complete, I decided on the font, color, and overall mood. In fact, I wanted to give a slightly hateful impression from the title to the composition of the project, so I tried to create the logo like an Internet meme image as shown in the picture above. But as I ordered the object and looked back at the plan, I thought it would be good to make the logo "pretty" as I thought in the beginning. A pretty image like a magical girl portrayed in the media. It seemed to be more effective in describing stereotypes about sexuality.

To be honest, I didn't do my project as it was planned. All I say about this can seem like an excuse, I know. But I did some research about the media instead. (because there was a problem on purchasing objects. I ordered wrong stuff in Alibaba.) There is a good photography magazine, called GUP, that upload posts on the website, so I read its posts and thought about displaying photos on the web. http://www.gupmagazine.com/articles/johan-kramer-camera-dream This post is for collaboration with photographer and video artist Johan Kramer. The magazine places his work and captures of the video on the top of this post, and put the captures again with the article. I think it is an effective way to show artwork and explain it. And another magazine, Vostok, it uses some new way. https://www.instagram.com/vostok_mag/?hl=fr SNS. (Every time I do research for my work, I realize that I think in an outdated way.) Comparing with the former, It has an easier way for interactive communication. On SNS, the magazine can get feedback immediately and react to it or reflect it. And, one of my favorite magazine, Magazine B, also uses new media to convey what they want to show. Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHWXyCI0cAg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EM0GEJ9IHUA (podcast) Though the magazine uses a very static way offline, but online, it can use other media. Video and sound, podcast ... And anyone can enjoy artworks through websites like Youtube or Instagram. Some of it is, I think, much more effective than offline exhibitions(or printed matters, Workshops ... )

Now, one of the biggest problems is solved. So next week, I really really have to order the stuff rightly (I already spent 40 dollars approximately to purchase.. how stupid...ㅠㅠ...) and do anything for my project!

Before having an interview with the professor, there were some problems with the project. Although offline exhibitions were planned, there were many difficulties in opening offline exhibitions these days, and if it is opened at school, it could have problems due to various restrictions. Of course, it would be easy to solve if I had a lot of personal exhibition experience, but I had very little experience and didn't even start the project, and I didn't feel up to it since I noticed that the finishing phase was flawed. To be honest, I also wanted to whine about the project during the interview. However, the professor's suggestion gave me many alternatives. Once I realized that all I had to do was complete the work, so I couldn't exaggerate my stress. Isn't it very stupid to be afraid of failures? After I had a different mindset, I found some more interesting ways. Collaboration exhibitions with other people with similar themes, and online exhibitions using websites. The latter was literally unthinking. It is because I thought that exhibitions can be created only when there is a space called a gallery. Even if I have a piece of work, it can become a gallery. Anyway, after that, I had a time to think about whether there would be alternatives other than the method recommended by the professor. I can publish the results in printed magazine format, create an archive-type website that records from the production process or conduct online workshops. One way or another is to happen. I realized that I couldn't do anything without thinking. After roughly organizing my thoughts, I have a plan to explore new skills and develop ideas in earnest from next week.
